Pet Policy

Looking for pet-friendly apartments in Waukegan, IL? Look no further than Northgate Apartments! As a pet-friendly community, we proudly allow cats and dogs here at Northgate Apartments. Now your pet has the opportunity to relax by your side and enjoy the comforts of your apartment home.  **All pets have to be authorized by management before occupancy.

Our Pet Policy

  • Northgate allows dogs and cats
  • Limit of 2 pets per apartment
  • Pets may be dogs or cats but cannot be more than a total weight of 100 pounds.

We do not accept Pit Bull, German Shepard, Rottweiler, Wolf Dog, or any mix of these breeds. Property staff reserve the exclusive right to make the final determination as to dog breed.

Pet Fees

  • $400 non-refundable fee per pet
  • $40 monthly pet fee

Unauthorized pets found in your apartment home will be subject to a $500.00 monthly fee up until the date the lessee registers the pets and pays the required pet fee/deposit.
